T.I.M.E.

Time…

The one thing we all want more of it. The one thing we feel as though we can never get enough of. Squeezing in as much as we possibly can with the time we are given has become a part of our daily practice. We have all been given the same 24 hours in a day to do whatever it is that we choose. Let’s just suppose for a moment we could acquire more time if we wished for it. That based on how wisely we used the amount we were given we would be granted more hours in the day. Would you take the opportunity if given??

What would you do with those hours?
How would you adjust your schedule?
How would your day look differently?

Would our day actually look different or would we just fill it with more “stuff”?? Facetune_30-07-2018-13-26-25

I recently asked my Instagram followers that if given the choice would they rather have more time or money and surprisingly 90% of you voted for more time! I think it’s safe to say we can agree on this one!

We all say we need more time but maybe what we are really saying is we need to put value and importance on the time we are given. Time is sweet and precious and oh so limited. I think that’s the way it was meant to be. If we were all given exponential amounts of time, we wouldn’t value it in the same way. We may not even treat it the same.

You know what’s so beautiful about time? We are free to do what we wish with it. Are you spending your days, your minutes, your hours doing the things you love or are you just going through the motions of the day to day, forgetting to remember how valuable and precious each second we are blessed with? Are you consciously carving out minutes toward pieces of your dream or have you gotten lost in the chaotic shuffle of each week?

It’s been my mission for the last year or so to do more of what I love. To make a conscious effort to set aside time, even if it’s only a few minutes, to spend doing the things in this life that excite me and bring me joy. I don’t want to look back on my life and feel like I missed so much good that was sitting right in front of me because I didn’t take the time to enjoy it and go after what’s important in life.

I think perhaps it’s not more time we need; it’s cherishing what we have already been given.

And what better way to help me track my time than to do it in style with this gorgeous watch from JORD?! IMG_7690

I chose the Cassia Series in Ebony & Sable because it’s timeless and classic! It’s exactly my style and pairs well with just about everything in my wardrobe. The ebony wood used to make the watch is found in East Africa and allows for a high saturation of color as well as a natural glossy shine. The Cassia was designed to complement the Scandinavian street style feels. So if you find yourself strolling through Denmark or Copenhagen, know you’ll fit right in. 🙂 The Cassia pairs perfect with fringe, floral, neutrals, and just about any color. ACS_0296
