A couple months ago I decided to join Style Collective, which is a community for lifestyle and fashion bloggers! It’s a place where female bloggers and influencers come together to connect, grow, and learn from one another. A place where you can find like-minded women all striving for the same things, whether you are brand new or a seasoned blogger, everyone comes together to support, encourage, and empower one another. That’s exactly what I love about it and have found to be such an encouragement! I have always shied away from calling myself a “blogger” because it’s always been something I just did for fun. I never really knew exactly where I would go with it. When I started writing several years ago I wasn’t always consistent with it but this past year I decided to get more serious about it. I felt like it was finally the right time in my life to put my all into it and see what happens, so here we are!
Last weekend I had the opportunity to be a part of my first blogger meet-up event with some lovely Style Collective sisters at Blo Blow Dry Bar in Chesterfield, MO! We met up to celebrate the launch of the very first Style Collective podcast as well as get to know one another for the first time!
I’ve always lived in small towns where blow dry bars aren’t really a thing so this was my first experience at one and let me tell you this one did not disappoint! The staff there was wonderful! They were so welcoming and accommodating to us, and not to mention made us all feel beautiful before leaving! And let’s talk for minute how stinking cute this place is!
I’m always a sucker for a business that just screams adorable from every corner! And this little place did just that! So if you are ever in the St. Louis area and need your hair styled for something special or just want to pamper yourself for the day, go see my girl Renee Lawson @bloheartsyou!
