My first blog!

Today is the start of my first blog! It’s a first that I hope to add to my list of several other firsts this year. I’ve never been much of a writer but recently I’ve felt like it could be something I may really enjoy. So here I go on a new adventure of blogging!  I hope it will be something that will be informative and bring joy and encouragement to those of you reading. If it brings a smile to your face or a chuckle, then I count it as successful! I’ve never been one to share my “secrets” whether they be serious or trivial so this is going to be a big step for me. I will be blogging about a variety of things…anything from my favorite products, fashion, daily life, lessons I’ve learned and tricks of the trade. I’d love to hear any comments or questions you have for me as well and I may even have some great give-aways from time to time! So stay tuned!
For those of you that may not know a lot about me let me share a little background. I turned 30 this past April and ever since then I’ve felt the need for positive change in my life, so I’ve been working on a lot of little things in order to make that happen. I’ve been living in Jefferson City, MO for seven years now. Six of those years I’ve been working full-time managing a salon of 9 girls! Every day in the salon world is a new adventure of its own. I love fashion, style, bargains, summers, antiques, music, coffee, fireworks among other things. These are all just some of things you may read about. One Saturday you may find me strolling the streets of a historic town visiting the antique shops, the next you might catch me in the big city at a Maroon 5 concert. Variety is the spice of life! 

I’ve had a little bit of a crazy year thus far and due to that I’m ready for new beginnings, fresh starts and new adventures.  This blog might just be a part of that “newness”.  Happy reading!
